I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, am certified in trauma-informed care, and work as a licensed school social worker at the elementary level. In addition, I serve as a board member for the Head Start program and co-president on my children's school Parent Faculty Council. As a mother of four, I am deeply committed to creating environments where all children can thrive and that is why advocating for more recess is so important to me.

I have a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education in English and English as a Second Language. Before I decided to become a stay-at-home parent, I spent three years in Wisconsin secondary schools as a tutor, student teacher, and licensed teacher. I am the current president of MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club, as well as a member of the Parent-Teacher Organization at my child’s elementary school. My two daughters are entering public education shortly, which has motivated me to turn my experience in education into activism through Say YES to Recess.

I am a stay-at-home mom of three children, my oldest recently completed kindergarten. I am involved in my local MOMs (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club chapter and worked with children for many years while serving in my church. These experiences have strengthened my love of community and I am inspired by the impact for good we can have together. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation and getting outside with my children often is very important to me. Together we completed the 1000 Hours Outside challenge and I have seen a very positive difference in my children when they are free to play and active outside.
